Cold process soap making preserves the integrity of the natural ingredients and allows for greater flexibility in selecting ingredients that will provide the desired benefits. The trade off is longer cure times. Often 4-6 weeks beyond the pour date before the soap is ready.

The Delightful Little Soapery began as a dream in the heart of small-town crafter Chris Daniels. Raised on a modest little plot of land, Chris grew up surrounded by gardens, animals, and the steady rhythm of life rooted in nature. Her parents and grandparents lived simply but beautifully — growing their own food, making what they needed, and passing down quiet wisdom and creativity with every season. From an early age, Chris showed a gift for creating. Whether she was picking flower bouquets from wild blooms or baking with her mother in the kitchen, she always found joy in creating. Turning common materials into something meaningful. Her grandmother, who made everything the old-fashioned way, became one of her greatest influences — not just for her crafts, but for the care and intention she poured into them.Years later, Chris found herself yearning for that same grounded, intentional life. With encouragement from her close-knit family, she began crafting soaps inspired by her childhood.
The Delightful Little Soapery is her tribute to that life: simple, natural, creative, and filled with love. Every bar of soap carries a little piece of her story — shaped by generations of hardworking, heartfelt people who taught her that beauty lives in the details, and that something made by hand will always matter.
